The EG08A2 is a great starter tripod for medium-heavy camera rigs. Pan and tilt drag are pre-set for a moderate load, and 1-7 stages of counterbalance can be dialed in based on the weight and position of the camera and its accessories.
GH08 75MM BALL FLUID VIDEO HEAD
The GH08 has a recommended maximum payload of 17.6 lb. and mounts to the bowl of any 75mm video tripod legs. Pan and tilt drag are installed and set at a fixed amount for slightly heavy camera rigs. There are 1-7 stages of counterbalance that can be dialed in, and the bubble level on the head lights up by pressing a button. This head uses the GP1 quick release plate and comes with a GB2 pan handle.
GA7525 ALUMINUM TRIPOD LEGS
The GA752 tiered video tripod legs can hold a whopping 88 lbs. and utilize a convenient mono-lock system that allows you to lock and unlock both stages of each extendable leg with one motion. Each set of legs includes a removable GS-01 mid-level spreader and a set of F3 rubber feet. The feet are easily removable to reveal spikes that allow you to set up your shot on soft ground. Finally, the GA752 is topped off with a 75mm bowl for light-to-medium weight video tripod heads.
A BASIC KIT FOR MODERATE LOADS
The EG08A2 is made for moderate loads and simple operation. Working with the pre-set drag settings is simple, and dialing in the counterbalance settings means users have a range of positioning options to accommodate base plates and mounted accessories.
